這裡所謂的「必須」，意思是「一定得要」，也就是「不做不行」。英文表達「必須」，常見方式有以下三種：

一. 用have to

You have to get up early tomorrow morning.

( 你明天早上必須早起。)

I have to finish my homework tonight.

( 我今晚必須做完家庭作業。)

三 . 用be necessary to

She is necessary to go to the doctor today

( 她今天得要看醫師。)

We are necessary to get there in time.

( 我們必須及時趕到那裡。)

It is necessary to water plants in dry season.

( 乾季必須要給植物澆水。)

注：water在此當動詞用，作「澆水」解。

三. 用must

You must help her.

( 你非幫她不可。)

I must go now.

( 我現在非走不可。)
